The People's Republic of Portland (PROP) was co-founded by local artist Jennifer Forti. Jen wanted to help create well-designed, responsibly sourced and stylish clothing with a conscience and a message: Community makes all the difference.

PROP supports local, like-minded businesses and non-profits through promotion, sponsorship, donation, and the sale of a hip line of clothing.  We make it our mission to model progressive change.

When you wear PROP you are not only helping to give back to the community, your are affirming everything that makes Portland a haven for artists, thinkers, nurturers, and all who want a better world—and every smile at the “Republic” motif can renew our understanding that we are a community: strong, thriving, beautiful. The seeds of what makes Portland wonderful can be sown around the world.
